I am so pleased to announce the At Home with Lavin blog. This has been a 5-year process that originally came about in my Los Feliz apartment in Los Angeles. I wanted to create a space where I could share some of my ideas, recipes, and discoveries. Cooking and entertaining are important to me because it what brings us all together and gives us a sense of community & togetherness.

During this, I will also give you the brass tacks of these projects and the mistakes because the mistakes are important. They’re how we learn to be better going forward. I’ll also share with you things that I love at the moment.

I am hoping to inspire everyone who stops in to maybe cook a certain something, decorate a certain way, and bring your chosen family together around the table.

Cheers to the journey forward!

2020 has been a tough year for a lot of us. With the onset of the coronavirus, we’ve had to all had to take a second look at ourselves during this period of isolation. What drives us, what makes us happy, and keeps us balanced?

Family & close friendships have become extremely valuable to all of us during this time. Food is one of the things that brings my family together. Morning coffee & breakfasts and warm evening dinners. I would like to share with you some of those great recipes that are tried and true to me and my family.
